Description |
This white cuboid brick features an engraved inscription on the front that reads, "Market St." Additionally, there is another engraved inscription on the left side that reads, "St." The remaining sides of the brick are blank. Originally, this brick was located at the corner of Market and Mercer Streets. The "St." inscription on the left side was once part of a larger set, with another brick that read "Mercer." The building to which this brick was attached was demolished to make way for the widening of Market Street. |

Overall: Cracks, accretions, discolorations, wear and corrosion throughout. Front: There is a large crack on top near the middle. There is a small crack near the top left corner. There are black accretions throughout. There is wear throughout. And finally, the inscription is faded. Right Side: There is wear throughout. There are abrasions near the top left and right corner. And finally, there is corrosion near the bottom left corner. Back: There is wear throughout. There are abrasions throughout. And finally, there is corrosion near the bottom left corner. Left Side: There is wear throughout. There are black accretions throughout. The inscription is slightly faded. And finally, there is an abrasion near the bottom left corner. Top: There is a large crack on the bottom near the middle. There is corrosion all over the left side. There is a green discoloration all over the left side. And finally, there are black accretions throughout. Bottom: There are white accretions throughout. There is wear throughout. And finally, there are abrasions all over the bottom. |
