Brown and Grey Arrowhead |
Description |
The object is a brown and grey triangular-shaped arrowhead, which juts out slightly at the bottom. The arrowhead has a very jagged appearance. The arrowhead comes with a note that reads, "Sepetember 29 - 2002 To whom it may concern, When I was 5 years old my family took me to "Stacy Trent State Park," I found what I thought was a pretty stone. As I became and adult I realized it looked like an Indian Head. I have written previous letters to the Historical Society about this but seeing I didn't have the area code or right address the Post Office probably threw it away. Now I'm 83 years old and a friend got your address on the internet. I am enclosing a picture of the stone and if you are intererested in it I would be happy to return it. Thank you. I am: Helen Esslinger 5037 Rimhurst Ave Covina California 91724" According to Emily De Jesus of Trenton Daily, Stacey Park is a public park located at 1399 Riverside Drive in Trenton, New Jersey. The park's entrance features a rounded brick plaza with a series of benches for visitors to sit on. On the left side of the entrance, a small set of stairs leads down to the lower level of the park, near a pond. The park also has a trail that runs along Route 29, offering visitors views of numerous trees, plants, and a portion of the Delaware River. Citations Jesus, E. D. (2019, August 8).
